We are really keen to hear about your thoughts and views on the proposed licencing scheme and we hope you’ve had chance to have your say on the proposals, comments on the map and tell us about your own experiences.
We know from some of the comments we have received that some of our contributors are experiencing problems with their landlords or tenants now and we want to make you aware of how you can get help and advice.
If you are a tenant or a residents and are having problems with your landlord or neighbours you can report problems online at Newcastle City Council online reporting portal.

We had the second of our three scheduled consultation events yesterday and we were packed to the rafters with landlords, agents, residents and third sector groups all keen to ask questions and have their say. It was a lively debate and lots of great ideas and comments were raised. Our next event is due to be held on Monday 14th January 2019 17:00-19:00 and again this will be held at the city library.
Some of our larger landlord and tenant’s groups have invited us to speak at their events and we are looking forward to these opportunities.
If you can’t make any of our event and would like us to come and speak to your group or organisation please contact us on licensingconsultation@newcastle.gov.uk to arrange.
With close to 100 stakeholders providing feedback on the proposals so far and we would like to thank everyone for taking part in the consultation; every comment counts!
Did you know you can also add comments to the interactive map! The map is a great tool and you can have fun scrolling around and zooming in and out. It is also a useful tool because it lets you post comments about specific areas and streets where you can let us know if you think these should or should not form part of the scheme.
If you haven’t done so already add your comments to the interactive map.
